Great news for Ontario residents and visitors β€” theScore Bet has opened pre-registration right before Canada's most biggest online sports betting market launches in Ontario.

theScore, based on Toronto, launched its sports betting app in 2019. It's existed as a media company and app since 2012.

The sportsbook is available in Colorado, Iowa, Indiana and New Jersey and the company expects Ontario to be its biggest market β€” in population and market share β€” since so many of its existing users live in Canada.

Ontario is expected to have about dozen sportsbooks join their market on April 4, 2022. This is an exciting time for Ontario online sports betting, since they are expected to be among one of the largest North American markets to date.

Canada has had sports betting for a while, but only parlays. No single-game wagering was available.

Score Media and Gaming was acquired by Penn National, Barstool Sports' parent company, last year. theScore Bet and Spittin' Chiclets, a hockey podcast and one of the most popular at Barstool, will host a watch party for the launch at RendezViews Restaurant, located in the Old Toronto neighborhood, at 6 p.m. ET.

This event is also located very close near Scotiabank Arena, where the Toronto Maple Leafs play their home games. They'll be in Tampa to play the Lightning on April 4 as they jockey for positioning in the Atlantic Division.

New users should take action to sign up for theScore Bet Canada so they are ready to take part in what will become a historic day in Canadian sports history.
