Washington avoided a five-game losing streak with a solid 131-116 win over the lowly Orlando Magic. In that win, the Wizards showed off the impressive offensive firepower that has them still in the hunt for the play-in tournament.
Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook combined for 49 points and 20 assists in the win over Orlando, with the duo essentially dragging the Wizards to the finish line. Head coach Scot Brooks will need that kind of effort again from his star duo if he wishes to take down the Warriors and a red-hot Steph Curry.
Golden State is coming off a surprising one-point win over the Milwaukee Bucks in which Curry turned in a vintage performance. He eviscerated the Bucks to the tune of 41 points, including a 5-for-10 shooting effort from the 3-point line.
No matter how this game flows on Friday night, it's tough to imagine the Wizards' 26th ranked defense (per NBA Advanced Stats) doing much to slow down Curry and his teammates.
