NBA Injury News

5:30 p.m. ET Update: The Detroit Pistons will rest Jerami Grant on the second night of a back-to-back on Wednesday. Sekou is expected to move into the starting lineup.

For the second straight game, Cam Reddish will sit out due to a sore right Achilles. John Collins is still being listed as questionable after passing his first concussion test. Kemba Walker has also been ruled out Wednesday on the second night of a back-to-back for the Boston Celtics due to rest.

1 p.m. ET Update: LaMarcus Aldridge will return to the lineup Wednesday after being sidelined with an injured hip.

Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse is optimistic about Kyle Lowry returning to the lineup after missed the past four games with thumb and ankle injuries. Lowry is officially listed as probable , but Nurse said he is, "somewhere between probable and questionable."

On the other side of that matchup, Tyler Herro and Goran Dragic have both been listed as questionable Wednesday. Herro missed their previous game with a hip injury and Dragic has been out for two weeks with an ankle injury.

The San Antonio Spurs will play their first game in 10 days and will be without a chunk of their roster: Derrick White, Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, Rudy Gay, and Quinndary Weatherspoon are all out due to health and safety protocols. DeMar DeRozan is also out for personal reasons, but LaMarcus Aldridge could see the floor for the first time since Feb. 1 after dealing with a sore hip.

Gordon Hayward is questionable to suit up Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns after injuring his hand on Monday in Utah.

Hornets head coach James Borrego said Hayward is day-to-day and "sore right now. The report is better than we expected. We hope to get him back soon. It could have been a lot worse."

Hayward has missed just two games this season despite dealing with back and hip issues this season, so it wouldn't be surprising if he played through it.
