NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (April 9): Paul George Out, Brandon Ingram Cleared to Return Friday article feature image

Below are the projected starting lineups for each team playing on Friday's NBA slate, along with notable injury news for each squad. Click here for Sunday's Injury list.

NBA Injury News

6:30 p.m. ET Update: Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis have been cleared to return for the Indiana Pacers.


6 p.m. ET Update: Brandon Ingram has been cleared to return to the court Friday after missing the previous five games due to a foot injury. It is unclear if he will have a minute restriction.

Kira Lewis, who missed the past three games with a strained calf, has been cleared to play as well. Lonzo Ball sit out due to a sore hip after returning for three games.


5:30 p.m. ET Update: Paul George and Patrick Beverly have been ruled out for the Clippers against the Houston Rockets. Reggie Jackson and Rajon Rondo are listed questionable on the second night of a back-to-back.

Donte DiVincenzo is out Friday. Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton have been downgraded to doubtful.

Lonnie Walker IV is set to return for the San Antonio Spurs after missing nine games with a wrist injury. Gorgui Dieng has been ruled out with a shoulder injury.


2 p.m. ET Update: Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss his fourth straight game on Friday as he continues to deal with a sore knee. Jrue Holiday has also been ruled out for Friday's game with a knee contusion.

Garrett Temple has been ruled out for the sixth game in a row Friday as he continues to deal with a strained hamstring.


The New Orleans Pelicans have listed Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kira Lewis questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ball is dealing with a sore left hip flexor, though he played the past three games after missing seven straight with the same ailment. Ingram missed the past five games due to a foot injury, and Lewis was unavailable the previous three games due to a strained calf.

The Indiana Pacers are monitoring Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis ahead of their game against the Orlando Magic. The Pacers, who are already missing Myles Turner due to an ankle injury, have listed Brogdon and Sabonis s questionable Friday. Brogdon has been sidelined the last four games with a sore hip, while Sabonis has missed three straight games with a sprained ankle.

The Washington Wizards have listed Bradley Beal as questionable ahead of Friday's game agains the Golden State Warriors. Beal has been dealing with a right hip contusion for over a week, and after missing a few games, he played 30 minutes in his return to the lineup Wednesday.

Jamal Murray is once again questionable heading into Friday after missing the past two Nuggets games due to a sore right knee. In his absence, Monte Morris and Facu Campazzo have alternated starts.
