NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (Jan. 27): Domantas Sabonis, Pascal Siakam Questionable for Wednesday

Wednesday's NBA Injury News

The key news to watch for Wednesday's 12-game slate is the status of Indiana Pacers big man Domantas Sabonis.

Per our NBA Insiders injury dashboard:

Sabonis is officially listed questionable in advance of Wednesday's game. An MRI revealed no structural damage to his knee after suffering a contusion on Monday, and he's expected to be day-to-day according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Sabonis was limited to just 11 minutes on Monday due to the injury.

The Dallas Mavericks are expected to get a chunk of their rotation back on Wednesday ahead of their matchup with the Utah Jazz. Josh Richardson, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Dwight Powell have been to questionable after missing multiple games due to health and safety protocols.

Pascal Siakam is officially questionable heading into Wednesday's game with the Milwaukee Bucks. He has missed each of the last two games due to left knee swelling.

The Minnesota Timberwolves hope to get D'Angelo Russell back in the lineup Wednesday for their game against the Golden State Warriors. Russell is questionable with a quad injury and has missed the Wolves' past two games.
