All three national NASCAR series will be back at Daytona this weekend, with each running the road course layout as opposed to the traditional oval.

The Camping World Truck Series gets the action started with tonight's BrakeBest Brake Pads 159 (7:30 p.m. ET, FS1) under the lights.

The Truck Series ran this layout last year, so we'll lean heavily on data from the race in August to make our BrakeBest Brake Pads 159 bets.

After combing through the numbers from that event, two wagers immediately came to the forefront as smart betting opportunities for tonight's NASCAR Truck race at Daytona.

Here are two drivers I've locked in already for the BrakeBest Brake Pads 159, and be sure to follow me on Twitter (@PJWalsh24) for any additional bets I make for tonight's race.

NASCAR Trucks at Daytona Picks

*Odds as of Friday at 7:30 a.m. ET

Sheldon Creed (+450) To Win

I'm not exactly going out on a limb here by taking the favorite, but his dominant performance in August is hard to ignore.

Creed won the event while leading the most laps, running the most fast laps and posting the top driver rating, all from the 14th starting position.

The No. 2 Chevy will lineup fifth tonight, affording Creed more accommodating track position to start the race and a better pit stall than he had last year.

I'm trying not to overthink this, and taking Creed at a very palatable price of +450.

Because he's the favorite, there isn't much wiggle room in this number so be sure to lock in the +450.

Raphael Lessard (+3100) To Win

At 31-1, Lessard is underpriced for tonight's race at Daytona.

Behind the wheel of Kyle Busch Motorsports' (KBM) No. 4 Toyota, Lessard finished third at the Daytona Roval with the third-best driver rating last season.

And while KBM certainly provides some of the Truck Series' best equipment, Lessard switched to GMS Racing, which clearly brought the fastest trucks for its drivers in 2020, including last year's series champion and defending race winner Sheldon Creed.

You can make a reasonable argument that last year's third-place finisher will have an even faster truck this year, and we can snag him at the cool price of 31-1.

You can confidently play Lessard down to 25-1 for tonight's race.
