If the current status of the cut line holds, a handful of big names will not make it to the weekend of the Masters Tournament.
Brooks Koepka and Rory McIlroy are two of the players outside of the projected cut line, which at time of publish was +3. Koepka was 6-over through 12 holes; McIlroy was 6-over through eight holes.
Notable names like Patrick Cantlay, Jason Day and Sungjae Im won't have to worry about where the cut line falls as they will finish well short of the top-50 finishers including ties.
Bryson DeChambeau started the day at +4, well off the lead and outside of the projected cut line. But a second-round 67 pushed him to 1-under on the day and within range of contention over the weekend.
Justin Rose shot an even-round 72 to stay at 7-under and sit at the top of the leaderboard ahead of Jordan Spieth (-5), Marc Leishman (-5), Justin Thomas (-4) and Tony Finau (-4), among plenty of others in the discussion.
This story will be updated as new information regarding the cut line is revealed.
